Pain, tension and anxiety can cause you to loose faith in life and happiness.
Discover how Craniosacral Therapy can help you regain balance and confidence.
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on therapy which assists people’s natural capacity to self-heal whatever their age or current state of health.
During a session, the therapist tunes in to movements and rhythms in the body, and the relationship between your bones and cells. (Although the name, Craniosacral Therapy, may suggest that it is a therapy for heads, it is a healing method for the whole body.)
For me CST has offered a fantastic alternative to traditional pain relief options and is encouraging my body to heal in a way that no other therapy has enabled in previous years.
CST is not a substitute for medical help. The practice focuses on the health of the body and its natural self-healing wisdom. In your sessions we will become explorers together to help you release old hurts, undo the effects of traumatic events and reach a sense of stillness and peace where you can heal yourself.
I went through quite a journey, physically, emotionally and mentally [being treated by Viv] and came through it feeling stronger on all three levels.
I am committed to helping people make lasting changes in their health, well being and life style.
In 1998 I completed my graduate training with the Craniosacral Therapy Education Trust in London and started my Craniosacral Therapy practice. I had (and still have) a sense of homecoming in the subtlety and potency of the work.
My post graduate training has focussed largely on the areas I have a special interest in, particularly shock and trauma, birth, babies and families and increasing my knowledge of the amazing way the body works through my studies of anatomy, physiology and embryology.
When my own children were young I taught antenatal classes for the National Childbirth Trust and trained other teachers. This was one of the ways in which my interest in body work and healing was awoken.
I have accompanied many women through their births and I still act as birth companion for women who want Craniosacral support during the birth of their baby.
I belong to a local group of Craniosacral practitioners.
I am committed to ongoing supervision and professional development.
I live and practice in the borders of Herefordshire where I keep horses and sheep and cherish life in the countryside.
I decided to try CST myself, in a bid to sort out ongoing back problems. I have now been seeing Vivien Ray regularly for 6 months and am seeing a vast improvement in my flexibility and mobility and a massive reduction in daily pain. The more I come to the sessions the greater the benefit of each session. I not only feel improvements on the day, but for many days after, and my posture, core strength and mental wellbeing are also feeling the benefit.
